The 4 M's of Small Groups

"M" for MISSIONS

We want to remain focused on our goal; to support and participate in church efforts; to penetrate our community and our globe for Christ.

"M" for MULTIPLICATION

Life Groups become less productive when they get too large. By the time a group has a total of 14 people in attendance for 3 weeks straight, they need to declare a multiplication the 4th week they are together.

"M" for MINISTRY

Ministry is why we exist! It should remain our primary focus. Our Pastoral staff wants to minister to everyone at First Assembly of God, but that is not possible. We need to minister to one another, praying conversationally to God over each other's needs is the primary focus for the group.

"M" for MENTORING

Someone called a "Shepherd Leader” leads the Group. The primary job of this leader is to train someone else to lead and have this leader in place before the group needs to multiply.
